Gomini, a managed cow care service platform, has been launched to revive the cow-based economy through responsible ownership, traditional wellness, and rural empowerment.

A media statement said the platform enables individuals to own indigenous cows creating a direct connection to India’s rural heritage, while ensuring the highest standards of care through trained rural women and farmers.

Founded in April 2025 by Arjun Sharma and Gauri Shankar, Gomini focuses on the holistic potential of Panchagavya, combining native cow breeds, natural farming, and sustainable rural development with modern technology.

By enabling each urban family to own a cow, Gomini empowers a rural woman caretaker with sustainable income opportunities, helping her support her family, gain financial independence, and contribute to her community’s economic growth, it said.

The company operates as a closed, invite-only ecosystem, ensuring that each cow is cared for with dignity and devotion. It said that all the owners of cows receive pure A2 milk and a curated range of Panchagavya-based wellness products as redeemable returns.

The statement said that people can start their cow ownership journey through the website or the Gomini app.

Each cow is RFID-tagged and linked to a blockchain-based NFT for secure and lifelong ownership records. IoT devices track real-time health and activity, AI systems monitor behaviour to detect early signs of distress, and CCTV-enabled computer vision offers live farm access to owners. The company is in the process of developing an augmented reality feature that allows owners to virtually interact with their cows from anywhere, the statement said.

Quoting Arjun Sharma, Founder and CEO of Gomini, the statement said: “With Gomini, we aim to bring prosperity home by restoring the cultural, ecological, and economic significance of India’s indigenous cows. Our mission is to reconnect people with their roots while empowering rural women and communities, creating sustainable livelihoods through the sacred bond between humans and cows.”

“By aligning with global UNSDG targets and combining trust, tradition, and technology, we are building a lasting bridge between urban individuals and rural caretakers. As villages under Gomini’s care grow to house 500 or more cows, we will be able to transform them into fully self-reliant, chemical-free organic farming ecosystems, turning our vision of cow-centric sustainable living into reality,” the statement added.
