These include refined flours and processed oils, which can cause inflammation and speed up aging. Sugary drinks and processed snacks also harm collagen and elastin, proteins essential for skin elasticity, leading to premature wrinkles. Another culprit is alcohol. Along with increasing the risk of serious illnesses, including cancer, alcohol dehydrates the skin and leads to fine lines.
